How does it work?

Find out in 4 steps

Upon receiving an order, the Flexibox unit analyses all the order lines and uses the central elevator to retrieve the required bins.

Inside, the central system only collects the bins needed for picking.

The bins are placed on a service tray that will be delivered directly to the picking bay with the bins containing the required items. The operator can withdraw from several bins and complete several order lines in a single cycle.

At the same time, the system prepares the next tray, ensuring a seamless and continuous workflow.

Smart Orders Preparation

“Orders Ready in Advance: Automation Without Compromises”. Flexibox makes the most of downtime thanks to the automatic “smart orders preparation” mode. In this mode, the system processes the orders received from the WMS software and prepares a certain number of trays in advance, optimising them for subsequent picking. All this is carried out in total autonomy, without the need for an operator to be present. When the operator arrives in front of the bay, the trays are already prepared, eliminating waiting time and ensuring a fast and efficient workflow. In this way, the machine works at its full potential, guaranteeing extremely high performance peaks
